Dining Options

Updated May 23, 2013.

You can’t dance if you haven’t had a bite to eat, so we will be providing a variety of snacks and meals during the weekend.  And for those of you with dietary concerns — vegetarian or vegan, gluten issues, etc. — we will usually have some options available for you.

Thursday

Thursday night features our Bar Crawl, Pizza Feed, and Trail-In Dance, with pizza and salad at Piecora’s, at the top of Seattle’s gay neighborhood, Capitol Hill.  The pizza and salad are included with the $25 add-on Pizza/Bus/Dance package (see the form on this page), or $15 individually at the door.

After the pizza dinner is over, the price for the shuttle and dance drops to $15, payable in cash on the bus.

After Hours: Pete will have some light snacks and beverages available in the Hospitality Suite (room 2625).

If you are saving your feet for the evening dance, you might check out the Urban Wine and Chocolate Tour on Friday afternoon.

After the workshops, our Friend of Dorothy host sponsors and the Emerald City Hoedown instruction and DJ staff are invited to the Wizard’s Reception/VIP Social, featuring a light dinner prepared by Raj of Sundance Association and Rain Country’s Ruby Luke, served in the Hospitality Suite (room 2625) followed by dessert and an no-host bar in the 28th floor Visions Suite.  Sign up to be a Friend of Dorothy host sponsor here.
